They were shipped out ground and I only got a tracking number for them after I called yet again. To top it off once I did get them, one of the dust boots is not seated completely and is bent."

SHUHI, CARL J. Alleged perjury under oath, United States Court Case No. 03-32158-BKC-PGH.
SHUHI, CARL J. was a creditor (he claimed he was allegedly owed money) in a bankruptcy case, Shuhi finagled to get his employee, accountant, elected as the bankruptcy trustee (administrator of the account). In 2004 Shuhi lied to the judge and testified that they didn’t know each other. Records showed that they had been working together since 1999 at FLORIDA CALIPER MANUFACTURERS, INC. (BANKRUPT). The judge found "Shuhi’s demeanors to be inconsistent with telling the truth and also finds that their body postures and facial expressions are inconsistent with telling the truth." The judge found "Shuhi testified falsely throughout the proceedings". November 12, 2004 Shuhi attempted to physically intimidate his former lawyer, outside the courthouse. Judge Hyman said that Shuhi should be referred to the U.S. attorney’s office for criminal sanctions for his role in getting Walden elected.

After 2 weeks of being jerked around, I called my credit card and they voided the sale. I then bought a pair of calipers from Auto Zone and installed them. A week later the calipers from Vette Parts showed up. Carl told me he was the manufacturer of the calipers but they actually came direct from a wholesaler in Texas called Lone Star Caliper and they are a legit company. I called Lone Star. They knew of Carl but only as a customer and said they do not ship his orders until his credit card goes through- which apparently is often a problem. Carl also claimed he sold his parts to Zip & Ecklers. I called Ecklers. They said the same thing as Lone Star."

Consumers have been ripped off by people claiming to represent what turns out to be fake auto parts companies. ALWAYS RESEARCH THE COMPANY'S BACKGROUND. Never write a check or give your credit card number out before doing your homework. No company is perfect, the question is how many complaints over what period of time, and were those complaints resolved? How many times has the company changed its name and been sued?
